N°003 — Prepping the screen
1. Click & hold the mouse button to apply the photo emulsion fluid.
2. Press any key to start with a fresh page.
A screen must now be selected. There are several different mesh counts that can be used depending on the detail of the design being printed. Once a screen is selected, the screen must be coated with emulsion and put to dry in a dark room. Once dry, it is then possible to burn/expose the print.
As mentioned earlier, we will be using a fine mesh that required an 8 pixel filter level for our layers. To apply the photo emulsion, we need to first fill our emulsion scoop coater with ink. Afterwards, we can start from the bottom of the screen and flood it by attacking the screen from an angle.
